Armed man leads Fresno Police on chase

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno man is in jail Sunday, accused of leading police on a short chase while armed with a gun.

It all started when witnesses saw Cory Scow in a truck at Van Ness Avenue and Nevada Street going in and out of consciousness. Officers say he appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

They asked him to get out of the truck, but he drove away instead.

Scow was caught a short time later and arrested on several charges -- including an active warrant for carrying a loaded firearm in public.
