Surveillance video shows Fresno liquor store employee being assaulted

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno liquor store employee is hoping surveillance video will help police catch the man who assaulted him.

In the video you can see the suspect throw several punches at the man inside Midway Liquor at Herndon and Blackstone-- around 6:00 Tuesday evening-- before they both fall to the ground. The suspect then hits the employee several more times before running away.

He was left with a welt on his head and a few cuts.

The victim said the man who assaulted him has stolen from the store in the past.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
