Officials are investigating a crash in Southwest Fresno
A Fresno County Sheriff's deputy says he was following a Mercedes that was speeding not far from there.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It happened at Hughes and Nielsen after 1 a.m. on Thursday. A Fresno County Sheriff's deputy says he was following a Mercedes that was speeding not far from there.

The Mercedes sped away, ran a stop sign, and crashed into a Turner Security vehicle. The worker inside was not hurt.

The two men inside the car ran off. One of them was detained. Fresno police say two teenage girls were in the back seat of the Mercedes. One suffered a minor head injury.
