Valley Armenians hold prayer for victims of border conflict
Dozens of people were killed in fighting at the border of Nagorno-Karabakh between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sunday services were especially somber for the Valley's Armenian Community Sunday.

At the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, the pastor led special prayers for the victims of Nagorno-Karabakh. Dozens of people were killed in fighting there between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces.

The area has been under Armenian control since a war between the two countries ended in a cease fire in 1994.

The recent fighting is the worst since the war ended.
