Fresno Police catch man in the middle of burglary

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in custody after trying to break into a business in northwest Fresno.

Around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night, police were in the area of Shaw and Hughes Avenues when they noticed 42-Year-old Juan Alvarado trying to smash windows with a cinderblock.

Officers quickly stopped him and noticed that Alvarado had already smashed another window looking to get in building.

Alvarado was arrested for attempted burglary and vandalism.
