Grizzlies earn series split with Las Vegas
Fresno defeats Las Vegas 4-3 on Monday

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The key to being a good team in any sport is limiting losing streaks. Among the four major sports, baseball has the longest regular season, so maintaining a winning edge at all times can be difficult.

The defending Triple-A National Champion Fresno Grizzlies entered Monday's matinee on a mini 2-game losing streak. Behind a solid start on the mound from Mike Hauschild and A.J. Reed's third home run of the season Fresno defeated Las Vegas, 4-3 to get back on the winning track.

Fresno welcomes in Salt Lake for a 4-game set beginning on Tuesday.
