LGBT wedding expo held at Fresno State

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- All things wedding-related were offered to the LGBT-plus community in Fresno Sunday.

The Rainbow Alumni and Allies club with the Fresno State Alumni Association got together to organize the At Your Service: A Rainbow Event & Wedding Expo.

People from all over got to visit the Smittcamp Alumni House to see nearly 50 vendors offering everything needed to hold a wedding.

Organizers say they chose to do it Sunday to help celebrate a big change for the gay community.

"We're coming up on the first anniversary of the Marriage Equality Act and so we're celebrating that today," Smittcamp Alumni House manager Pamela Dyer said.

Everyone who showed up got free samples and raffle prizes, plus a fashion show for people.
