Investigators say the victim was targeted and it was not a random incident.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators say the victim was targeted and it was not a random incident.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested a suspect in the kidnapping and rape incident that happened in west central Fresno on Wednesday night.

According to investigators, the suspect forced the woman into his truck at gunpoint on McKinley near West Avenue in Fresno around 6:30 p.m. He dropped her off in an orchard near Whitesbridge and Blythe after assaulting her. She then, walked a half mile to a packing shed for help and an employee called the sheriff's office.
