Job fair held for Valley vets searching for work

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Valley veterans had the opportunity to meet with potential employers at Friday's Fresno County Veterans Job Fair.

About 60 different companies spent time at the American Legion Post to meet with veterans and some of their family members.

This is an event that's been going strong for at least 10 years. The goal of this job fair is to connect veterans with employers who want to hire the service members.

About 100 people stopped by to meet with various HR representatives and submit applications for employment.
