Fresno pets stay cool during record heat

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This extreme heat is for the dogs, and we have proof that cats want nothing to do with it.

We found a couple of them out in the heat yesterday when we hit a record-high of 105 degrees.

In video, you can see the gray one giving the orange one a little bath, but just below that, you'll notice they're both sitting on top of ice packs.

Lisa Goodell sent us the video as well as a photo of a third cat, who also found an ice pack to stay comfortable on a hot day in the valley.
