Man hit and killed by car in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- UPDATE: The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 24-year-old Jay Oh of Fresno.

Gettysburg is closed between Fresno Street and Augusta Street in front of Holland Elementary School while authorities investigate the incident.

A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning after he was hit by a car on Gettysburg Avenue. The road is expected to be closed for several hours for an investigation.

Today is the first day of summer vacation for Fresno Unified, so Holland Elementary School is not in session.
