Youth leaders hold conference to connect with Fresno teens
Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project members hosted a three-day conference to encourage teens to get involved in their community.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Members of the ABC30 Youth Advisory council are working with organizations to inspire local high school students.

Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Project members hosted a three-day conference to encourage teens to get involved in their community.

In addition to the ABC30 Youth Advisory Council, members of the Fresno Boys and Men of Color also spoke on the panel with the goal of connecting students to groups that make a difference.

"It's really fun," member Jhareli Solis said. "It's really awesome and get to meet new people and we get to go behind the scenes. It's been fun."

The ABC30 Youth Advisory Council was formed earlier this year to better understand issues important to Fresno youth.
