Fresno couple celebrates 73 years of marriage

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno couple is still celebrating their love for dance and each other after more than seven decades together.

Malcom and Laverne Masten celebrated their 73rd anniversary Sunday at a local senior living community.

The Mastens were sophomores at Fresno High School when they went to their first dance together.

They continue to dance as partners at local clubs despite both being 96-years-old.

"I'm very fond of this lady," Malcom said. "And we have enjoyed a long time. And she's good company."

The Mastens say a good sense of humor and a love for the waltz is keeping them in rhythm after all these years.
