FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teenager is recovering at the hospital after being shot in Southwest Fresno overnight.

Police say there are several crime scenes they are investigating this morning after about 10 to 14 shots were fired in three different areas. They believe it started on Florence and Bardell avenues, before continuing over to Weller and then Lorena avenues.

Police found a 15-year-old who was suffering from a gun shot wound to his upper body on Lorena Avenue, near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. He was taken to Community Regional Medical center for treatment. They say he was cooperative with police.

"We're currently interviewing the shooting victim to see if he is an intended target or if he was just an innocent bystander," said Lieutenant Ron Hughes, Fresno Police.

Two vehicles were also struck by gun fire. There are no suspects are in custody at this time.
