One critical after car wreck in East-Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police say a speeding driver rear ended a stopped car on Clovis and Ashlan avenues Sunday afternoon. The impact sent that car into the intersection where it collided with another car.

Paramedics took a 25-year-old woman to the hospital with major injuries. On Monday night she was said to be in fair condition. The other two drivers escaped with scrapes and cuts.

Police say neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in this crash.
