FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --Grizzlies Shortstop and Astros' top prospect Alex Bregman is enjoying life in Triple-A. It's been less than a week and he's coming into Tuesday night's game vs Sacramento hitting .476 with 4 HR's & 11 RBI.
Last year's #2 overall pick says he's been working a lot at Third Base since he'll likely have to play that position if he gets the call from Houston. Former top prospect & Grizzly Carlos Correa currently fills the SS position with the Astros.
Here's what Bregman had to say about the difference between Corpus Christi and Fresno baseball "I'd say there's a few differences between here and Double-A. Guys are a lot older and they know what they want to do, what they're trying to do and they can execute it better. So, you have to execute your game plan just that much better. I think the stuff in Double-A was very similar, if not a little bit better. But these guys know how to use what stuff they have and they're very good pitchers."
