FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --Firefighters are currently out at the scene of a fire just a few blocks west of the Tower District at Olive Avenue and Farris Avenue.
Fire crews arrived on scene shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday to find the building engulfed in flames. They say the fire started outside the building, which formerly housed Fresno Discount Trophy.
Firefighters say the building is vacant right now and currently being renovated to be put up for sale in the coming months. No one was inside when the fire broke out. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Olive is expected to be closed from Thorne Avenue to Harrison Avenue for the next few hours as crews battle the blaze.
