Man crashes car in Fresno after accidentally shooting himself, police say
The man claimed he was harassed by three men at a gas station and one of them shot him but officers say his wound is more consistent with an accidental shooting.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One man is recovering after Fresno Police believe he accidentally shot himself while driving.

Fresno Police said the man was driving on Ventura and Hazelwood Streets Friday when he lost consciousness and crashed into a traffic light.

The man claimed he was harassed by three men at a gas station and one of them shot him but officers say his wound is more consistent with an accidental shooting.

The man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he's expected to be okay.
