Jose Ramirez Teams Up With Me-N-Eds for Voucher

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Avenal boxer Jose Ramirez is training in the Philippines to help Manny Pacquiao with his next fight. Back in the Central Valley, the undefeated NABF Junior Champion is teaming up with Me-N-Ed's Pizzeria to give local fight fans a chance to watch his next fight for free.

Starting Thursday, the local pizza giant will have fliers attached to the box tops in all of their stores from Bakersfield to Merced. The fliers can be exchanged at a pizzeria in exchange for a voucher. That voucher can be redeemed at the Save Mart Center for two tickets to the Fight For Water 6 even in Fresno, December 2nd.

"I think it's a great opportunity to showcase someone from the valley and that has a world presence. A world champion, an Olympic athlete and it's great as Me-N-Ed's has always supported local athletes and local sports. So it's an opportunity for us to be involved" said Me-N-Ed's District Manager and Head Chef Marcel Bustos.
