Police looking for suspect in robbery of Hobby Lobby in North Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are asking for your help to identify a suspect wanted for a robbery at the new Hobby Lobby store in North Fresno. Surveillance images show a woman with brown hair in braids walking through the store last month.

Loss prevention officers said they observed her placing several items into a large, teal colored handbag. When the woman got to the front of the store employees confronted her. But they said she denied stealing anything and attempted to walk past the store officers.

When one of the employees tried to detain her they said she assaulted that person.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fresno Police.
