Merced man arrested after being accused of molesting victim of 2 year period

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is under arrest accused of child molestation. Merced Police said 37-year-old Ruben Lopez inappropriately touched the victim more than 15 times over a two-year period.

Detectives said the abuse came to light after the child reported what was happening to their school counselor.

Lopez faces several felony charges.
