Organizations throughout the Central Valley are coming together to fight for victims of human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence.

Centro La Familia Advocacy Services held an event for groups to talk about teaching people how to identify these types of crimes better, and how they can be given the support they need.

"It is a big problem, human trafficking does exist in this community, although folks find it hard to believe, but people are trafficked," said Margarita Rocha, CLFA Executive Director.

The event also covered how organizations in the United States can partner with the Attorney General of Mexico's Investigative Unit of Crimes Against Migrants to combat abuse crimes for victims from Mexico living in the United States.
