Local companies team up to create a cold java treat to cool you down in the Valley heat
It's cold, it's part coffee, and it's the newest product to the Valley-- cold brew coffee milk.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's cold, it's part coffee, and it's the newest product to the Valley-- cold brew coffee milk.

"It's a dream come true for us, because we're able to link up with such a quality name such as Rosa Brothers," said Bryan Feil, Lanna Coffee Co.

Feil is with Lanna Coffee, which roasts coffee and creates cold brew. The two craft companies have teamed up to combine their passions.

"We brew our traditional cold brew coffee recipe in a concentrate in which we send them those gallons. It gets mixed into their two-percent milk and we add a dash of sugar to that and what we're left with is delicious cold brew milk."

It will be poured in small and large bottles in the Tulare facility. File said the small bottles are easy to grab and go.

This is the second year Lanna has created cold brew.

"It's a 22 hour brew process in a refrigerator. It allows it to be smoother, less acidic than a traditional cup of coffee," said Feil.

The popularity seems to be growing-- Feil said this new local drink is a perfect blend of two Valley products.

"Being in that glass keeps that bottle colder and just refreshing. It's huge for us to be able to partner with them on this product and to have Lanna Coffee's name and logo spread throughout the state."

The business gives a portion of its proceeds to those in Thailand and said every purchase makes an impact.

You can try Rosa Brothers and Lanna Coffee's cold brew coffee milk when it hit store shelves across the Valley and state next week.
