Visalia police investigating two armed robberies that happened just minutes apart

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a pair of armed robberies just minutes apart from each other.

The first happened around 1 p.m. on Floral Avenue when two men with handguns jumped out of their car and approached three elderly victims demanding cash.

The victims complied as the quickly suspects drove off. About 15 minutes later on the other side of town, a suspect approached a woman in parked car demanding money.

When she told him she didn't have any, he raced over to another parked car and ripped a purse off a woman's arm before running away.

The woman received a cut to her arm but is expected to be okay.
