DUI driver arrested near Sanger after crashing into power pole, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The crash happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday on Jensen west of Del Rey Avenue. Officers say the driver drifted into the center divider, then went off the right shoulder and sheared a power pole. The wires didn't fall, but the pole was broken.

The driver was booked on DUI charges and taken to Community Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

PG&E replaced the pole and power has been restored to the area.
