South Valley amateur and local Chef's getting ready to have a food fight for a good cause

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Amateur and local chefs are getting ready to compete for top honors at the 9th annual Food Fight for Families.

Wednesday was the "weigh in" for the event which benefits the Visalia Rescue Mission. Competitors will get to make either a steak or shrimp dish in just 30 minutes using a list of available ingredients.

Our own Brian Johnson will be competing in the event along with other local celebrities and community leaders.
