Wildfire fighting C-130 tankers stationed in Fresno
The two massive C-130 air tankers from the Nevada Air National Guard arrived at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport Saturday afternoon and were immediately put to work.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A pair of planes just activated by the U.S. Forest Service to be stationed in Fresno are now headed to the Jacksonville Fire in Tuolumne County.

The two C-130 air tankers from the Nevada Air National Guard arrived at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport Saturday afternoon and were immediately put to work.

In all, three additional planes have been activated by the U.S. Forest Service in Fresno and will be available for firefighting efforts across the state for the rest of the season.
