FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The CHP says an underage drinker from Fresno is to blame for a crash on the Central Coast that killed two of his passengers.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on Freeway 101 near the Cuesta Pass. That's where officials say 19-year-old Robert Jones the second was speeding and driving drunk when he lost control of his car and crashed. The two backseat passengers died.
Jones and a 20-year-old woman in the front seat were both taken to the hospital.
The identities of the passengers who died have not been released, but they were also both from Fresno.
