FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno firefighters continue to make memories during the Big Fresno Fair for children with disabilities.

Firefighters brought out the Llanes family for the day. Riley, Ann, and her little brother Jayce played games, rode carnival rides, and tasted fair foods.

The priceless opportunity not only touched the family but the firefighters as well.

"Being out here in the community, and impacting members of the community on a positive note really invigorates our firefighters and gives them another reason to come back to serve the community tomorrow," said Chuck Tobias, with the Fresno Fire Department.

This is the department's 24th year partnering with the fair. There are roughly 20 families each year that come out with the firefighters for the VIP experience.
