6 mobile home trailers catch fire in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters have been busy overnight putting out six mobile home trailer fires just outside of Fresno. They broke out just after one o'clock in the area of Central and Fowler.

Several power lines were also brought down.

Crews are working to find out how the fires started, but we are told flames spread to each of the trailers because of how close they were to each other.

Cal Fire Battalion Chief Ryan Michaels said, "Some were kind of pulled behind kind of RV style, others were mobile homes at one point, but used to being stored on the property and because of the proximity of the fire was moving from trailer to trailer."

Fire crews are working to contact the property owner to find out the value of the trailers.
