FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Four of 15 suspects who authorities believe took part in last month's violent takeover at Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino turned themselves in to authorities on Monday.

Tex McDonald, 64, was one of those who surrendered to Madera County sheriff's deputies. He's being held on $1 million bail. The three other suspects were Miguel Ramos, 23, Tyrone Mark Twain Bishop, 29, and Vernon James King, 59.

Tulare County sheriff's deputies arrested Eric Domingo Flores Suniga, 30, of Cutler on Sunday. He has since posted bail. Ten more suspects are still outstanding.

The casino remains closed as all sides try to come to some sort of compromise. The man hired by McDonald as tribal police chief claims the incident was peaceful around the public -- noting guest check-ins went uninterrupted as seen in a video.

"Was it worth it? Sure it was worth it. It was within the sovereign rights of the tribe and I have no regrets in what we did. We would probably do it the same way," Chukchansi Tribal Police Chief John Oliveira said.

Oliveira also said they have five videos shot by McDonald's group on October 9 which will prove they are innocent in court.
