At least 1 injured during Northwest Fresno gun battle, police say
Police say at least one person was injured during a gun battle in Northwest Fresno on Saturday night.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police say at least one person was injured during a gun battle in Northwest Fresno on Saturday night.

It happened just after 7 p.m. near the Lakes Apartments at Palo Alto and Mitre avenues. Fresno police say one group of suspects in a white SUV exchanged gunfire with another group in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.

No victims were found at the scene, but a 21-year-old man showed up at Saint Agnes Medical Center with a bullet graze wound to the back of his head. Detectives say the victim is not cooperating with the investigation, but witnesses saw a black SUV drop him off and speed away from the hospital.

One house and one apartment were also hit by gunfire during the incident.
