Central Fresno shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
Authorities are investigating a homicide in Central Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police say one man is dead and another injured after being shot on Saturday evening. It happened near Belmont and Blackstone avenues in Central Fresno around 6:30 p.m.

Officers say the two victims were found inside a restaurant in the area. One of the men, who was shot in the neck, was pronounced dead. The second man was shot in the chest and was taken to a hospital in very serious condition. Both victims are believed to be in their 30s or 40s.

The road was shut down as investigators looked into the homicide. They say the suspect vehicle, described as a gray Dodge Charger, went over the median and left tire tracks in the area.
