Clovis families receive food and some get a new bike
Forty-five bikes were fixed up by inmates at the Pleasant Valley State Prison as part of a program the Clovis Police Department established 15 years ago.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 500 local families got to take home boxes of food Sunday and some of them left with a newly refurbished bike.

Forty-five bikes were fixed up by inmates at the Pleasant Valley State Prison as part of a program the Clovis Police Department established 15 years ago.

The annual food donation is in its 32nd year. The Clovis Rotary Club and Clovis Police Officers Association teamed up to call on local businesses to make it all happen.
