FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are searching for the driver of a U-Haul truck that plowed into a limousine late Tuesday night. The crash happened in Fresno County at Lincoln and Englehart avenues near the city of Reedley.

12 people in that Cadillac limousine went to the hospital. One with traumatic injuries was flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno.

The California Highway Patrol says the U-Haul appears to have veered into the side of the limo that was stopped at the intersection. They're not sure how fast the U-Haul was going at this time.

The CHP says the U-Haul driver ran off moments after the crash.

Sgt. Jim Del Carlo added, "Alcohol was inside the U-Haul, on the floorboard, unknown if the driver was impaired."

The CHP says that U-Haul doesn't appear to have anything else suspicious in it. The truck was hauling remodeling waste materials.

It's not clear where the limo was coming from. Injuries to the passengers are said to be minor to moderate for all but one of the passengers.
