Driver arrested after car strikes person in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A person under the age of 18 is recovering in the hospital after being hit by a car in Southwest Fresno.

It happened near the intersection of Elm and North around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators say a minor suffered major injuries. The driver of the vehicle was arrested.
