DUI suspect drove onto oncoming traffic

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is facing DUI charges early Monday after causing a head-on collision.

California Highway Patrol officers say the man was driving in the wrong direction on Highway 99 near Chowchilla when the crash occurred.

He was going south in the northbound lanes of 99 near Avenue 27 when he lost control of his Chevy Tahoe overnight.

Investigators say four people in the Tahoe suffered a few broken bones but are expected to be okay.
