F-35 Strike Fighters heading to Lemoore Naval Air Station, base prepares
A first of its kind construction project will soon begin at Lemoore Naval Air Station.

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Florida (KFSN) -- A first of its kind construction project will soon begin at Lemoore Naval Air Station.

The base is preparing for the arrival of the Navy's new F-35 Strike Fighters. The jets won't arrive until 2016, but pilots are already training at Eglin Air Force base in Florida.

Action News traveled to the Florida base to learn more about the planes, and the people coming to Lemoore.
