Fresno kids get hands-on look at heavy trucks

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's no secret that kids love trucks and Saturday many of them got a hands-on lesson in their favorite vehicles.

The Touch-a-Truck event took place at New Covenant Community Church in Northeast Fresno.

Kids got to explore a variety of vehicles and meet the people who build, protect and serve the local communities.

The display included construction trucks, police cars, SWAT vehicles, fire engines and more.

There were also food trucks and other family friendly activities.
