Fresno PD: Men caught on camera burglarizing cellphone store
Fresno police say two men broke into a Sprint cellphone store early September 8 stealing $3,000 worth of cellphones.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police say two men broke into a Sprint cellphone store early September 8 stealing $3,000 worth of cellphones.

"We're assuming that they've done this before," said Fresno Police Sgt. Mark Hudson.

Hudson says video shows the men kick in the glass of the front door then crawl inside before yanking display phones from their security cords. Police believe the men scouted out the store at Clovis Avenue and Kings Canyon Road.

The phones all have serial numbers that can be reported stolen, said Sprint Store Manager Angela Ayala. She says you should always check serial numbers with a cellphone carrier before buying it from anyone.

Anyone with information on this break-in should call the Fresno Police Department at (559) 621-7000.
