Police helicopter helps catch alleged drunk driver in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police say a drunk driver is in jail after leading them on a pursuit.

Officers tried to stop Carlos Anguelo near Church and Maple, but they say he sped away.

A Skywatch helicopter crew helped track the 26-year-old to an apartment complex near Florence and Maple. He refused to surrender, but was eventually taken into custody by a police K9.

Authorities say Anguelo was also driving on a suspended license. He's now booked on several charges, including DUI.
