Madera County Sheriff needs help finding missing elderly man

MADERA COUNTY (KFSN) -- UPDATE: The Madera County Sheriff's Office reports that Close was located near Beasore Road after getting stuck in the snow.

He was rescued safely and reunited with his family.

North Valley law enforcement needs your help in locating a missing man.

Kenneth Close, 70, went to North Fork Wednesday morning to buy a lawn mower. He called his wife around 11:00 a.m. and said he was going fishing at Lower Chiquita Creek.

He hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Close was driving a 1997 green Chevy pickup with a red door.
