FRESNO, California -- Four people are finding another place to live, after their mobile home caught fire.

The mobile home caught fire near Douglas Ranger Station Road. The homeowner was not there at the time of the fire, but a neighbor, who happened to be a firefighter with the forest service, rallied other neighbors to haul buckets of water. Meanwhile, he used his fire hose and grabbed a shovel, to stop the flames from spreading.

"While the house was burning , I was working on digging a line around the house, trying to make it solid dirt, trying to keep the fire away from trees and the propane tanks," said Jordan Cowdrey, neighbor.

"It was too late. The whole thing was on fire when I got here. It was too late," Jonathan Martinez, homeowner.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
