FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police say vandals slashed tires of several cars in Downtown Fresno near Masten Towers.

Investigators believe the tires of seven cars were slashed early Monday morning before 5 a.m. They also had similar reports of vandalism near Community Regional Medical Center on T Street.

"So it looks like when they slashed the tires they also just broke the window out, so not vehicle burglaries, just vandalism," said Lt. Joe Gomez of the Fresno Police Department.

Investigators say they're looking into video surveillance from buildings in the surrounding area.
