Police search for hit and run driver after a man is hit in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The search is underway for a driver who hit a man in Central Fresno and left the scene. It happened just after one Monday morning at the intersection of Wishon and McKinley near Fresno City College.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and is described only as a man in his 50's.

While that intersection has crosswalks on all sides it is unknown if the victim was in one at the time he was hit.

The investigation at the scene has since wrapped up and there will be no impact on the busy morning commute near Fresno City College.
