TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Lindsay community member's voice support for an adult oriented business petitioning to get their operating license back.

"Saints and Sinners" was denied a new license earlier this year in Tulare County. They're asking the board of supervisors to reverse that decision.

Community members spoke up Tuesday during a public hearing voicing support for the Saints and Sinners Gentlemen's Club in Lindsay. The Tulare County Board of Supervisors listened, but they won't be making a decision anytime soon.

The club's lawyer couldn't make it to the meeting so the hearing has been postponed to December 16th.

Raymon Nickelson spoke in favor of the club. He said, "I've talked with the family, it's put a big strain on them."

Earlier this year the county auditor denied renewing the club's adult oriented business license. The county says the building wasn't up to standards and there were issues with operating procedures. The club's owner, Marilu Lopez, is asking the board to reverse the auditor's decision. But a decision won't happen until December 16th.

Tulare County Supervisor, Steve Worthley said, "We'll be hearing the evidence at that time and rendering a decision based upon the information that's presented to us."
