FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of people gathered at Fresno State on Saturday morning to "Walk Like MADD."

Family members, victims and advocates against drunk driving walked in a 5K event to raise money and awareness. They say every day in the U.S., 30 people are killed because of drunk driving crashes.

This is the walk's fifth year, which is put on by Mothers Against Drunk Driving and local law enforcement agencies.

Action News reporter Amanda Venegas served as the event's emcee.
