At a ceremony on Thursday, a series of banners were unveiled on the Old Town Trail in the area of Clovis and Shaw. Each banner features an image of a famous resident.

The first five designs celebrate the accomplishments of Franklin Antonio, co-founder of Qualcomm, Golden Globe winning actor Chris Colfer, actor and singer Ken Curtis, former White House deputy chief of staff for President Bill Clinton Maria Echaveste, and Daryle Lamonica -- who played quarterback for the raiders.

The Clovis Tourism Advisory Committee, is working on the next group of banners to be displayed in 2016. Their plan is to continue adding about five a year.
