LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers legend Don Newcombe collapsed on Tuesday after a news conference introducing Dave Roberts as the new Dodgers manager.

Paramedics were called to the scene, and Newcombe, 89, received treatment.

Newcombe was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated. No further information was immediately released.
