FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Just one year removed from re-writing the Fresno State receiving record books, former Bulldog All-American Davante Adams has shown his game has adapted well to the NFL.

"The more involved I get, the more confidence I get," Adams said "And I can instill that confidence in the rest of the players and coaches and most importantly Aaron. And that's who's feeding me the ball."

Entering Green Bay's regular season finale this weekend, Adams has played in every Packers game, catching 38 passes from Aaron Rodgers for almost 450 yards and three touchdowns. This after spending two seasons as Derek Carr's favorite target.

"They take over a game like no other," Adams said. "Obviously at their respected stages. It's great. It makes my job a lot easier and makes me just go out there and run routes and catch touchdowns."

And earlier this season, Adams visited Bulldog Stadium as an honorary captain for the Wyoming game. Adams wanted one more chance to say thank you to the Red Wave, but Bulldog fans let their feelings be known a little more overwhelmingly.

"It feels great man," the Green Bay receiver said. "It's a lot of love in here. Not as many fans as there should be in here, but a lot of love and it's good to be back."

And now that the Packers are a win away from an NFC North title as well as a first round playoff bye, Adams says he looks forward to continuing to represent the Central Valley in the NFL for many years to come.

"It's amazing. All the support I have in here. It's Bulldog Nation. I'm Bulldog born, Bulldog bred, and there's a lot of faithful fans in here so it feels great."
